Ironclad Coffee Roasters presents “An Old-Time Richmond Evening” Thursday night

Take a trip back in time with a historical talk, live music, and more.

From Ironclad Coffee Roasters:

Richmond’s history is deep and wide, and the impact of the iron industry on the economy and in the lives of past generations of Richmond’s families cannot be forgotten.

Join us in the Scott’s Addition roastery of Ironclad Coffee Roasters for an evening that will take us all back — if only for a couple hours — to a time when Richmond’s foundry on the James was a bustling center of activity. Enjoy a presentation from author / historian Nathan Vernon Madison, LIVE old-time music from the Cary Street Ramblers, and refreshments provided by Ironclad Coffee Roasters and Lark Baking Company.

Mr. Madison’s new book, “Tredegar Iron Works: Richmond’s Foundry on the James” will be available for purchase. Admission for this unique event is free, but we ask you to reserve your spot by securing a ticket here on EventBrite.

Delicious coffee roasted fresh and on-site will be available for purchase alongside silces of Lark’s legendary cake.

Space is limited, so please reserve your place today.
