Carytown named one of nation’s top “hip” retail markets

The report, released by real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, cites the Mile of Style’s walkability and diversity of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

Carytown, Richmond’s Mile of Style, was named one of the most hip shopping districts in North America in commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield’s annual report, “Cool Streets of North America.”

Richmond-area residents who shop, eat and hang out in Carytown already know that the dining and shopping district is a hip and happening place.

Now global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has confirmed it, ranking Carytown as one of the top 15 trendiest retail markets in the country for connecting to millennials and incubating retail trends.
