Teen shot in Gilpin Court
Third shooting this week in the neighborhood.
Shortly before 5: 00 PM, a teen male was shot in Gilpin Court. The shooting happened near the intersection of St. James and Federal streets. Shot in the torso, the teen was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. No description of the suspect is available at this time.
This is the third shooting in the neighborhood since Tuesday. On Tuesday, August 25, one person was shot around 2:00 PM near the 1300 block of St. John Street and a second individual was shot multiple times around 9:45 PM near the 1100 block of St. John Street.
