Score a free Virginia Is For Lovers hat when you buy Virginia booze

Buying Virginia wine and spirits just got a little more rewarding at the Carytown ABC Store.

A new promotion from the Virginia Tourism Corporation and the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control means you can score a sweet hat and enjoy Virginia made wine and spirits.

The Carytown ABC Store, located at 10 North Thompson Street, is giving out “Virginia is for Lovers” trucker hats with every purchase of a 750mL or larger size product made in Virginia. The purchase of any Virginia-made product only available in a size smaller than 750mL will also receive a hat.

“Teaming with Virginia ABC is a great way to showcase the great products Virginia has to offer,” says Virginia Tourism President and CEO Rita McClenny. “Virginia ABC stores carry a wide selection of Virginia wines and spirits that are perfect for any occasion.”

“Virginia ABC is proud to stock the shelves of its 351 stores with Virginia-made products and especially pleased to partner with Virginia Tourism to promote them through the Virginia is for Lovers ‘hat’ campaign,” said Virginia ABC Chairman Jeffrey Painter. “We look forward to continued partnerships that support local businesses and draw people to discover Virginia’s flourishing spirits and wine industries.”

The Carytown store is the only location in Richmond–and one of only five in the state–where the trucker hats are being given out.
