So long, RVA!
I’m getting ready to head out with the Virginia Tech storm chase crew for another trip to the Great Plains. We’re back looking for more supercell thunderstorms, and hopefully a tornado or two along the way.
This fabulous spring weekend will only be tainted by a few clouds for the rest of your Saturday and Mother’s Day. Rain – and lots of it – come back in the picture by Monday.
While Wednesday is a mess with thunderstorms and rain through tonight, clear weather is in store for the rest of the week and this weekend.
While we start the week with sunny skies, a low pressure system moving into the Great Lakes and New England will make things a bit unsettled by the time we reach Wednesday.
A backdoor cold front sliding into Virginia this morning, along with a thunderstorm complex moving out of West Virginia will make Saturday a busy weather day. By Sunday, though, the precipitation clears out, replaced by mild temperatures and gorgeous weather.
There’s a threat for severe weather across central Virginia this afternoon and evening. Despite that, we’ve got some stellar weather in store for the second half of this week! The weekend’s not half bad, etiher.
Some clouds and lingering cooler weather from this weekend will start the week a bit cooler than many would like, but we’ll be back in the 80s before you know it. One peek at summer, coming up!
While Friday’s been gorgeous, a slow-moving boundary will linger from the weekend into next week. If you’re a fan of cloudy skies and vague threats of rain, this is going to be your weekend.
Friday’s been gorgeous. This weekend? Not so much. Try to enjoy the outdoors Saturday morning, but make sure to pack a heavy-duty umbrella. Sunday’s going to be a wet one.
While warm temperatures kick the week off right, Richmond is looking at a decent round of rain coming through by midweek. After the Squirrels’ first home series, could they be looking at their first rainout on Wednesday morning?
