Easter on Parade 2010
Planning to head over to Easter on Parade on Sunday? We’ve got details on the forecast, parking, road closings, activities, and more. So grab your bonnet and come on in!
Details
On Sunday, April 4 from 1pm to 5pm Venture Richmond’s Easter on Parade will take over the four blocks of Monument between Allen (right at the Robert E. Lee Monument) and Davis Avenues. Join thousands of your fellow Richmonders for a celebration including roving performers, music, food and crafts, and the much-anticipated pet bonnet contest!
Cost
Admission is free!
The forecast
Weather Dan says to expect a few clouds, lots of sun, and temperatures in the 80s. That Easter bonnet will come in handy — and don’t forget the sunscreen!
Parking
There is no designated parking, so it’s first come, first serve street parking. Broad Street should have plenty of street parking available, and it’s an easy walk over to Monument.
Road closings
Monument Avenue will close at 8am from Allen to Davis Avenues. Meadow, Allison and Strawberry will also close at 8am from Grace Street to Park Avenue.
