Summer fashion to beat the heat

Ladies and penguins, it’s officially summer in Virginia which means the heat wave has come to town and smacked us in the face. I know, all you want to do is drink limeades on the deck at Phil’s one last time before it closes, but you are afraid of melting outside. This is by no means an excuse to let yourself go this summer.

This is by no means an excuse to let yourself go this summer.

Whether you are heading to the beach, hitting up the pool, off to a BBQ, or throwing one back at the bar, it’s always important to stay cool while looking your best. I hit the town and scoured the stores to bring you some of my favorite looks and trends for the summer. So, when you are getting ready to go out on the town, remember to dress for the weather and try to incorporate some of these trends to beat the heat!
