Djan R. Robinson, 36

ROBINSON, Djan R., age 36, of Richmond, departed this life January 6, 2016. He is survived by his fiancee, Lukeisha Terry; one son, Djan Robinson Jr.; mother, Sheila Robinson; father, Ernest Morton; one sister, Dajonay Robinson; nine aunts, two uncles; a host of cousins, among them a devoted, Bennika Lockley; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., where funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45 p.m. Friday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.

The incident

Where: 1000 Block of Highland View Avenue on Northside.
When: Wednesday, January 6th, officers were called at 6:18 AM by a passerby who saw the body lying in the road.
Weapon:One apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation

So far, nothing to report. Major Crimes is pursuing leads, according to the Richmond Police Department.
