RVA Deals

Even if you’re not hosting a Fourth of July celebration on Sunday, take advantage of this week’s sales to stock up on picnic and cookout staples! Find out about these deals and more, including serious coupon-love coming from the folks at MARTIN’S.

MARTIN’S has been generous with the coupons since coming to Richmond. Not only did it send out a second coupon mailer with more “$3 off $30” purchases and freebies, but it also offers a “GIANT brand” coupon booklet, available in-store. I have found them on the Customer Service counter, and have also been handed them when checking out.

Each booklet contains the following coupons (and I’ve included some ideas of what to buy with them):

  • $1 off any GIANT brand beverage (free 2-L sodas after coupon, or cheap bottled water)
  • $1 off any GIANT brand ice cream
  • $1 off any GIANT brand snack or cookie
  • $1 off any GIANT brand product (free jar of pasta sauce)
  • $1 off any CareOne health care product (free 24-ct ibuprofen)
  • $1 off any CareOne beauty care product
  • $2 off any Nature’s Promise meat, produce, or bakery product (Makes a great deal on natural chicken or ground beef , or use to get free 16-oz bags of NP baby carrots)
  • $1 off any Nature’s Promise grocery product (free cans of black beans)
  • $1 off any Pure Power or Pure Softness product ($.09 paper towels)
  • $2 off any Smart Living Product (Smart Living batteries and barbeque tools are both “Buy one, get one free” right now; get two 8-ct AA battery packages for $2.39 with coupon)
  • $3 off any Simply Dry diaper product ($2.99 for a jumbo pack after coupon)
  • $1 off any Cottontails baby care product
  • $1 off any Simply Enjoy product
  • $1 off any Companion dog food product
  • $1 off any Companion pet care product

The fine print is that they can only be used on transactions with a $15 minimum purchase, and only one of each kind can be used per transaction. Coupons expire 7/31.

My suggestions just scratch the surface of what GIANT deals are possible. What have you been getting with yours?

Even if you aren’t partaking in a Fourth of July party, take advantage of this week’s sales to stock up on picnic and cookout staples!
