Shamrock the Block

Now in its 10th year, Shamrock the Block will be 30,000 people convening on the streets of Shockoe Bottom to eat, drink, and watch bands like Killing Daylights, Murphy’s Kids, and more.

Church Hill Irish Festival

The 28th annual festival kicks off Saturday at 10:00 AM with a parade. There’ll be traditional Irish musicians, bagpipers, and dancers performing throughout the weekend. Children’s games and face painting will also be available.

Sine’s 14th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Street Party

The bar will host bands like Broken Monday and the Chase Fralin band, plus more (rain or shine!)

St. Patty’s Palooza

A free family-friendly event with petting zoo, bounce houses, and face painting. Adults can look forward to a beer garden, food vendors, and dance troupes. Proceeds go to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Rosie Connolly’s St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Street Party

Featuring beer truck, food vendors, and live music all weekend.

Capital Ale House St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

The downtown bar will have 10 different Irish & Scottish ales on tap (and at least ten more in bottles). It will also debut a new Irish menu, featuring Tender corned beef and cabbage, Dill and Irish whisky cured salmon on crispy potato cake and chive cream, and more. There will also be live music.
