St. Joseph’s Villa was founded in 1834 by the Daughters of Charity as an orphanage and school. Since then, it has established itself as the oldest and largest continually operating nonprofit in the Richmond area. Now a nonsectarian organization, St. Joseph’s Villa serves more than 600 special needs children and their families each day.

This weekend, St. Joseph’s Villa celebrated 175 years of serving Richmond’s children. They invited us to stop by and take a look at their beautiful facilities during this important time in their organization’s history. Take a look…
