The Richmond Folk Festival needs you

The Richmond Folk Festival begins in just a few short weeks. Richmond’s biggest festival starts on Friday October 10th and runs through Octover 12th. The only way it can help is through the efforts of hundreds of volunteers. Right now they’re short on volunteers of all sorts.

Speaking from direct experience, volunteering is easy, fun, well run, and has benefits that can’t be denied. Not only do you have a chance to hang with artists but nearly every person you deal with is happy to be there and that mood is infectious. You’ll leave your four hour shift tired but content. More tangible benefits are reserved parking, volunteer t-shirt, discount at the retail tent, and an exclusive invite to a private party with all the performers.
