What kind of music does Ilad play? NO ONE KNOWS - but its wonderful, kinda roots-y, electronic-y, wisp-y, sounds kinda like Radiohead? Maybe like some weird Beatles jams? a supa soul dance band? erin tobey - pleasant enough. Lotta KRECS passiveness flowin’ freely throughout the whole track. Total The Glow Pt. 2. There ain’t a whole lot to say bout it. Its just there ya know?
Prabir - come on brotha. more sugar-coated shit to feed the masses. Nice rocker in the middle, for ten seconds of relief from that effin’ nasal blastin’ bellow (if seagulls could bellow). Ted Leo did it better in Chisel, and you streched that line to the breakin’ point three years ago.
Brian Jones - I dig. Smackin of that early 00’s Touch and Go/Chicago stuff (Eternals/Enon etc.) without gettin too zaney. Chill ass drummin’ and sequencing? It works.
Ilad - lotta build up for little reward. can’t remember the last time an echoe effect bored me that much. not on drugs right now either, so “I don’t get it?” Can hear McEntire signature helibuzzthing and the clarity on the drums. Eh, whatever.
Speaking of Wilder, any chance of having each candidate for mayor record an audio track for a fall political music throw-down?

This is why I left Richmond… Brian Jones is the most compelling of these songs but the lack of confidence leads to nowhere. What else you got?

There is an obvious intellectual gap between all above artists and Coald Toast. The sophistication and approach to Toast’s electronic waves, rythms, and unorthodox vocals makes it superior.
“Coald Toast” It is so challenging, full of NEW depth,
keep it up and PLAY FOR THE WORLD. Just love it!
3 Greats and an Eh–I liked OK Bird better when those two crazy looking dudes from Coald Toast were in it.
