Holiday soundtracks

Ever wonder what the RVANews staff listens to as they slave away in their Main Street office making sure you all are up-to-date with all the holiday haps this town has to offer? Well, now you can know…

RVANews co-publisher Scott Pharr has been hard at work for months and months curating two very special Pandora stations for us to share with you during the holiday season. You may not know this, but Mr. Pharr is a Christmas music connoisseur and, if he had his way, the RVANews office would listen to it 12 months out of the year.

Anyway, we thought it’d be fun to give you all a glimpse of what we’re listening to as we slave away in our Main Street office, making sure you’re up-to-date with all the holiday haps this town has to offer. You’ve got two options from which to choose. Just click on the links and you’ll be redirected to Pandora. The magic of the Internet will add the station to your own collection. If you don’t have a Pandora account, you’ll be prompted to sign up (it’s free and awesome).

Traditional »
Perfect if you like Bing, Frank, or Harry Connick, Jr.

Alternative »
Think Sufjan Stevens, Weezer, and so on.

Enjoy!

(If you have any problems getting access to these stations, just email info@rvanews.com and we’ll get you hooked up.)

So cool! I didn’t know Scott was a Christmas music junkie. He and I should talk sometime. And he (and anyone else) should join me and GayRVA.com for caroling on Dec 8.

  2. I am loving this!! Thanks, Scott!

Bing Crosy and Harry Connick Jr are not traditional. And Stufan Stevens is the worst musician on the face of the planet!
