Richmond Zombie Walk

What to expect: An organized public gathering of people dressed up in zombie costumes.
Date: Saturday, October 24th
Time: Pre-walk meet up is at 1pm. Walk starts at 2pm
Location: Carytown. The pre-walk meeting spot will be at the parking lot of Benedictine High School which is on the corner of N. Belmont Avenue and Hanover Avenue in the Museum District.
Cost: $5 suggested donation to benefit The American Cancer Society

Young Frankenstein at Byrd Theatre

What to expect: A showing of Mel Brooks’s Young Frankenstein. Come in costume.
Date: Sunday, October 25

Cost: $5 to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk. Checks accepted.

Howl-O-Week at Baja Bean Co.

What to expect: Pets will be welcome on the patio! Every guest with their pet will receive 10% off their bill and the proceeds will go to the Richmond SPCA

Sixth Annual Cat Tales & Cocktails

What to expect: A pet-friendly Halloween party with caricature portraits, pets and people costume contest, bobbing for tennis balls and more.
Date: Friday, October 30
Time: 7pm to 10pm

Cost: $30 in advance, $40 at the door. $20 for designated drivers/non-drinkers. Includes beverages and hors d’oeuvres.

Halloween, Dia De Los Muertos

What to expect: A Halloween festival blending cultures through live music, dancing, arts & crafts and other activities. There will be a performance from the Latin Ballet

What to expect: A comedic Halloween themed play about a werewolf, a vampire, and a resurrected Egyptian princess.

Maymont’s “Deeper Shade of Black: Mourning in the Age of Poe”

What to expect: A unusual exhibit dedicated to the Victorian-era obsession with the rituals of death and dying. Composed of a private collection of period artifacts in addition to original Maymont pieces.

RVA Magazine Presents: The Halloweek Ghost Ship

What to expect: Sail the James River Halloween night on the Eagle 3 Yacht. DJ’s, drinks and food catered by Cous Cous and refreshments. Transportation available via the ‘2 The Bottom and Back Bus.’ Limited to 100 people so get your tickets soon.
Date: Saturday, October 31
Time: 7pm to 10pm
Location: Meet at Belvidere restaurant, 506 W Broad St., at 5:30pm to receive your purchased tickets and depart for the pier.
