We’re three very short weeks away from the second annual RVAJazzfest featuring Tim Berne and Ombak and the wheels have been turning behind the scenes to ensure that this a great one. The RVANews gang has been an indispensable help this go around, the very talented Cary Ralston (aka .:. impossible) created the poster design, the bands are hard at work preparing their music, and our generous sponsors are helping to make the whole thing happen. Many thanks go out to The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, Curated Culture, Modlin Center for the Arts, Plan 9 Music, Richmond Jazz Society, VCU Arts Department of Music, and WRIR Richmond Independent Radio.
Tickets will be available online here and in person at certain locations soon, and on Monday, January 25th, we’ll be launching the Jazzfest Guide on RVANews. Each day, we’ll post a featured interview with a band or performer or a feature on one of the event’s sponsors. So check back then for exclusive RVAJazzfest content. We’ll see you at Jazzfest!
