Hopefully this isn’t coming as a surprise to any of you, but today is the deadline to file your federal tax returns (you have until May 1, for your state taxes, fyi).
The only post office in the Richmond area with extended hours today is the main office at 1801 Brook Road. Their window services will be open until 7pm.
If you’re looking for something to do today, perhaps you’d like to participate in a local Tea Party? Word is there will be a group of people standing in protest at Kanawah Plaza from 6 to 7:30pm. No word yet on if they will actually be serving tea. Would be nice though, it’s supposed to be chilly and rainy today. More on that here.
