This Friday, some of the lovely people that make up “The RVANews staff” will be setting up a LemonAid stand to benefit Children’s Miracle Network and help kids battling cancer. All lemonade is sold for a $1 donation.

We plan on setting up outside our offices (1205 W. Main Street, across from the Papa John’s) from 10am to 4pm. Come stop by, bring a buck, have a drink, maybe chat a little, and know that part of your day went to helping kids who need it. And if you show up, you might see various people wearing this hat:

If you’re interested in setting up a LemonAid stand of your own, there’s still time to register. This is a perfect activity for parents of younger kids looking for something different to do with the day or for those older kids who need community service hours for school.

  1. Cute! Will try to stroll down Main Street for a bit o’refreshment.

  2. Pictures from the day, unfortunately we were rushed inside because of the rain.
