Just went to get my Monument 10K packet today and thought I would document my trip for all you non-10K competitors.

First – find your name on one of the 10 boards (front and back) so you know where to pick up your bib. Sorry it’s a bit blurry.

Then – go over to the table corresponding with your number (mine happened to be 8054). On the back of this sucker is your time-tracker which just looks like a piece of plastic. This thing logs your time “electronically”. If you don’t how to put it on your shoe, well.. there’s a YouTube video for that, THANKFULLY. (see below)

After that you are going to want your free t-shirt. Round the corner and WHOA .. LOOK AT ALL THIS CRAP YOU CAN BUY!

Don’t worry about that unless you love buying stuff … and a lot of it, just keep going and grab your T.

Now head out of that place, find the Powerbars (they are free) and some Powerade (also free) and GO! (cause it takes longer to get out of the parking lot than it does for the rest of the process.)
