Richmond’s favorite redhead is reportedly leaving Clear Channel to get her own morning show with Cox Radio’s 103.7. This past spring, Chase’s morning show on Q94 was canceled after layoffs at Clear Channel, bumping her to the 2pm to 7pm drive-time slot.

Hallelujah!! The slaughter over at Q94 this spring was nothing short of criminal and knocked the best morning show in Richmond off the air. I am so, SO glad that at least Melissa will be returning to mornings somewhere in the river city!
People actually listen to Q94? What miserable lives they must lead…
1. Melissa is great. Lot of fun. Wonderful person.
2. Saying anything on Q94 is “the best” means you are a good candidate for eugenics. And if you like Eliot in the Morning, find two pencils, sharpen them, and jam them in your ears. Even Lou Ferrigno has better taste in radio than you. Try Opie & Anthony/Ron & Fez on XM. Frrrrrrunkis!
