Richmonders love their restaurants. And RVANews loves Richmonders. So, it only makes sense that our newest project brings all of those things together.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are very proud to present Eats, our new guide to Richmond’s restaurants.

Eats includes basic information on restaurants around town, but also lets you search by restaurant name, your location, a specific neighborhood, cuisine type, key words, and special diets (including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free). We’ve also given visitors the option of rating restaurants on a five star scale.

Eats is mainly focused on restaurants in the city limits at the moment, but we’re adding to it every day. If there’s a particular restaurant you’d like to see included, shoot us an email at eats@rvanews.com.

Keep in mind, it’s a work in progress. We’d love for you to head on over, take a look, and let us know what you think.

Restaurateurs and general managers, you’ve got some options here, too. We’re offering a Plus listing for a small monthly fee, allowing you to upgrade your restaurant’s listing to include:

  • A few words on your restaurant
  • An image
  • A PDF version of your menu
  • Links to social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Links to up to five online reviews of your restaurant

If you’re interested, contact Lauren Eubank at lauren@rvanews.com or (804) 332-5764.

I believe you are missing Bouchon. New French place on Cary. Pretty sure it’s open.

The survey isn’t working. How about El Toro Loco on Staples Mill and Jimmy John’s Sandwiches on Patterson? (Other chains are on the list…)

  4. I like the handy directory. The breakdown of types of cuisines really highlights some food-gaps in the city limits. Can we swap out some sushi places for Vietnamese that aren’t next to VCU?

  5. yes, Bouchon is open and delicious.

Survey not working for me. How about Niwanohana in Shockoe Slip and Frank’s Pizzeria southside?

  7. Sorry guys — we closed the survey which was strictly for the giveaway. However, if you would like to submit any restaurants that are not on the list, please send an email to eats@rvanews.com

Boo, I tried the survey just a few hours after your post! :) I guess no football for me.
