   make events going on richmond known about well in advance so people can go to them. i had no idea about ira from this american life being in richmond. i totally would have gone to that.

   I second the events calendar aspect. Then again, there are a handful of these about the web, it’s just a matter of making sure the folks throwing the events know to use these things to keep folks up to date.

   I’d like to see someone write about Richmond’s history and how it stands/remains today. So, for example, what’s the story with the different neighborhoods around? It could be all found on wikipedia; however it would be cool if someone wrote about it here and provided modern day pictures and stories or something.
