Maggie Mason is my nemesis for several reasons.*

First, she’s BFF with dooce.

Second, she has the cutest baby on the planet.

And third, she makes money by looking on the Internet for cool things and featuring them (along with snarky blurbs) on her brilliant web site of brillance: Mighty Goods.

When I happened upon this gem of a shopping guide, I shook my jealous fist towards San Francisco and declared, “Maggie Mason, why must you taunt me with your forward thinking and entrepreneurship???”

You should check it out. There’s even a 2007 Budget Gift Guide for those of us with less of a handle on our clamz.

(*I really hold no contempt for Ms. Mason, aside from the fact that she represents everything I want to be/have in life.)
