HandsOn Day: Volunteers still needed!

The third annual HandsOn Day is scheduled for October 16, offering you your yearly chance to join forces with other Richmond-loving, uh, Richmonders to help transform our community.

The third annual HandsOn Day is scheduled for October 16, offering you your yearly chance to join forces with other Richmond-loving, uh, Richmonders to help transform our community.

At this point, project captains and volunteers are still needed to lend a hand to over 40 non-profits, city parks, and schools in the Greater Richmond area as they complete their HandsOn Day projects.

To see a full list of HandsOn Day projects still looking for volunteers, stop by their website. There are some projects with age restrictions, so please read carefully — they’ve also marked the family-friendly options quite clearly, so that should help you narrow down your choices should you be bringing the kiddies along.
