Guess the accumulation, win a Ukrop’s SNOMG gift pack

You might have heard that we’re expecting snow this weekend.

You might have heard that we’re expecting snow this weekend.

In honor of such a dreaded exciting event, we’ve decided to create a little contest.

Enter your accumulation predictions in the comments (no ranges, EXACT measurements, here). We’ll consult the airport’s total once it’s all said an done. Whoever is closest will get a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread, and a box of rainbow cookies (all from Ukrop’s) delivered directly to you.

In the event that there is a tie, we’ll rely on random.org to pick the winner from those who guessed correctly.

COMMENCE WITH THE PREDICTIONS!

13.3 inches is my official entry, but all it takes is a couple of flakes to send the city into a panic…

  26. Bopst, it doesn’t even take a couple flakes; it only takes the sheer MENTION of snow to send this town into a tizzy. The RVA has been uppity about this weekend since at least Tuesday, if not earlier.

My boss hates me because I haven’t gotten done much work done, I’m too busy looking at forecast models and tweeting about snow…

  27. I’m thinking “The Day After Tomorrow” levels here…total snopocalypse here. You know, it may not be too late to start heading south to Mexico and the Caribbean. Maybe after a late night intown pub crawl, that is…

OK, maybe that’s a little too much. My educated guess? 7 1/2 inches, because #thescienceissettled
