The second-annual Dominion Riverrock festival is happening May 14 and 15 on Brown’s Island. The two-day event celebrates sports, music and of course, fun on the James River. Just like last year, photographers of all skill levels can register to participate in a digital photo contest.

“They may photograph any Dominion Riverrock personality, competition, activity or venue they choose,” stated the DRR press release. “A panel of judges will be looking for the one overall image that captures the spirit of Dominion Riverrock.”

First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded in the amount of $500. Photos must be submitted in a digital format to be eligible to win. Winners will be announced on May 19 on the Sports Backers website.

Interested photographers can register online until 11:59pm on May 12 for $10 or on-site for $15.
