Tell us your pick for best moms found on the ol’ boob tube.

In honor of our Mother’s Day Guide, we thought it’d be appropriate to sprinkle our op/ed section with a few YOUR MOM-related posts here and there leading up to the big day.

So, to get things started, tell us your picks for best TV moms. We’ll leave the connotation of “best” up to you – it could mean funniest, nicest, hottest, craziest, what have you.

I’ll start. My personal fave is Lynette from Desperate Housewives, mostly because of that time she pulled over her minivan and kicked her kids out of the car for fighting. Although you can apparently get arrested for doing that these days, I admired the move.

  11. Spock’s mother on Star Trek. She was only on one episode, but still. Also Boomhauer’s mother on King of the Hill was incredible.
