Ironic that the RMA spent all that money putting in those special EZ-Pass lanes, then did away with the discount for using them. I’m going to cancel mine as soon as they’re “empty” because I’ll be damned if I’m going to loan the RMA $70 interest-free for however long it takes me to use it. I need to check whether I can refill my account with, say, five or ten bucks. Then I might do it.

  2. If that added increase does, in fact, go to maintaining the city’s roads, I don’t have a problem with the increase. What I do have a problem with is that I doubt that it actually will…

  3. I think the money increase will go to just the toll roads, not to city roads in general. I know I’ll find another way around the city.

Has anyone noticed the beautiful landscaping on the RMA?

  4. Have these roads not payed for themselves a thousand times over?

  5. Yes. It’s the cost of maintaining them that’s the bitch…

  6. They just did a ton of work at the Powhite Parkway and as long as everyone is smart enough to figure out what lane they need to be in traffic goes much faster at rush hour, making the extra 20 cents worth it for me.
