3. Chili Cook-off!! The Earlyhouse Estate hosts a cook off in Louisa County from noon-5 p.m on Saturday. Guys, a chili cook off!! There’s a juggler and music and tons and tons of chili. $5-$10. 3998 Yanceyville Road. 434.589.6216.
4. Celtic Festival. Large men throwing large objects (11-1pm). Children’s games, etc. etc., the usual festivities BUT free hotdogs and lemonade. $10, Saturday, The Gayton Kirk Presbyterian Church, 11421 Gayton Road.
5. SPORTS!!! The Redskins bounce back against the Browns OR catch a bit of the baseball playoffs. More info here. Free, ALL WEEKEND.

The Indian Festival is this weekend also at the Richmond Convention Center. Sat. 18 -Sun. 19. 11:00-6:00 I think.
The Plaza Bowl thing benefits PLAZA BOWL. Also, duckpin bowling is the best.
