- After a fairly dominate first half, the [ur]UR[/ur] defense couldn’t get off the field in the second. App. State scored late, making the final score 35-31. The next time the Spiders take the field they’ll be in their new on-campus stadium, next year.
- [vcu]The Rams[/vcu] lost their conference opener to William & Mary, 75-74. Ed Nixon missed a last second three-pointer and the Rams fall to 5-2 (0-1 in the CAA).
- [vuu]VUU[/vuu] took VSU into overtime in the Big Apple Classic to bring home the only win for teams in Richmond. VUU is now 2-3 (1-0 in the CIAA).
