The legend goes that Jesus shed tears when Lucifer fell from the heavens, and those tears fell on the slopes of the volcanic Mt. Vesuvius (I was obsessed with the story of Vesuvius as a kid, by the way). The tears made the soil special enough to yield the unique grapes of this particular wine. C’est Le Vin will have both their white and red.

They will also introduce a California Chardonnay “kiara” at a special price and feature their regular sweet and bubbly Brachetto, The Birbet.

On Saturday the 17th at 2pm, they’ll also feature a beer tasting from Brooklyn Brewery with Summer Ale, Brown Ale, and Lagers. I’m told there may also be some giveaways.
