Food, magicians, games, pumpkin decorating, face painting, costume contest, moonbounces, a haunted shipwreck, straw maze, and more!
This year, pets will also be center stage as radio station Lite 98 brings its popular Pet Costume Contest to Trick or Treat Street. Kat Simons, Lite 98 mid-day DJ, will host pet and child costume contests, and a panel of judges will award prizes in a variety of categories. The kids’ contests will being at 12:30pm, and the pet contests start at 1:30pm. Prize categories will include, for pets: most original, scariest, funniest, and owner-pet lookalike. The children’s categories will be most creative/original, scariest, cutest, and overall best costume.
All pets must be registered. Registration is available at lite98.com or at the event. Pets must be friendly, and owners must follow all rules as outlined on the website.
Trick or Treat Street is organized by the university’s fraternities and sororities with participation by many other student organizations. Admission is free, but those attending are asked to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to FeedMore. Food and beverages will be available, with a portion of the proceeds also benefitting FeedMore.
A philathropy event hosted by the University of Richmond Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils and over 25 student organizations.
