NCAA record-setting Bradford Burgess leads VCU past GMU

Bradford Burgess wasted no time in his NCAA record 143rd consecutive start as he drained his first three 3-pointers to help the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams beat the George Mason Patriots 74-64 in Richmond, Virginia Sunday night. With the victory the Rams advance to their second consecutive CAA tournament final where they will face the red hot #1 Drexel Dragons at 7pm on Monday night.

What to expect: VCU vs. GMU; CAA Tournament edition

One year ago after being destroyed at home by the Patriots, the VCU Rams beat #25 George Mason 79-63 just one week before going on their historical Final Four run. This year, George Mason will try and get the final word as they seek revenge after being beaten 89-77 on February 25th.
