The New York Times What You Get for … $400,000, a round-up of interesting houses for sale across the country, includes 2419 East Grace Street:

This Italianate house, built in 1895, is in the Church Hill is a neighborhood on the National Register of Historic Places known for its 19th-century brick houses built in the Victorian and Federal style. Across the street is the Episcopal Church where, in 1775, Patrick Henry gave his famous “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” speech. Most of the residences here are single-family homes, though several tobacco warehouses and stables have been converted to condominiums. There are a couple of restaurants and cafes in the surrounding blocks, including Millie’s Diner, which is perennially jammed for brunch. A grocery story is a block downhill toward the James River; downtown Richmond is about a mile away along the James.
