Henrico Police are searching for an individual or group of individuals responsible for a string of vandalism over the past week in the Wyndham community. Over the course of the week, the Morgan’s Glen, Glencrest and Renwick subdivisions all had various street signs vandalized or destroyed. Residents in Bradford Landing and Collinstone also reported firecrackers being set off in their mailboxes.

Most reported damage throughout the week occurred on Wednesday, July 7 between 9:00 p.m. and midnight. According to Tom Hall, Site Manager with Wyndham’s neighborhood association, The Wyndham Foundation, it will cost the community approximately $3,575 to replace 13 damaged or destroyed sign posts.

Henrico Police have started extra patrols through the community to monitor the situation, and the community asks anyone with information to call the Henrico Police non-emergency number at 501-5000.
