Merge Recording artist William Tyler plays a special Tuesday installment of Live at Ipanema:
We are really stoked to bring you a very special Tuesday night edition of Live At Ipanema!
William Tyler (of Lambchop, Silver Jews, Bonnie Prince Billy) is touring in support of his fantastic new album Impossible Truth (Merge Records). Tyler says his music is sort of like ’70s singer-songwriter without all the words. Don’t miss your chance to see him in such an intimate setting!
The cherry on the top of this show is Richmond’s own Dave Watkins! Dave will kick start the show by playing improvised tunes on his homemade dulcitar!
Live at Ipanema is a free live performance series at Ipanema Cafe. The shows by local and regional artists are recorded by Allen Bergendahl and photographed by PJ Sykes, and then shared online. The band gets a high-quality recording and professional photography, and everyone else gets a great evening of music.
