After watching the video above, still not sure on how to change it up to stimulate your mind and body? Try some of the tips below!
1. Skip Pilates or Yoga at the gym and go for a power walk with friends, pup, or on your own
2. Try a new machine. If you normally use the Elliptical Trainer, use the Row Machine
3. Strength train! So many women forget this part of their workout. Pick up some weights and skip the machines.
4. Do Interval Training
Sample Interval 1:
Run for 10 minutes
10 Push-ups
10 full sit-ups
Sprint for 30 seconds
Walk For 60 Seconds
Repeat Three Times
5. Find a different kind of workout and trainer! Make sure you are always challenging your body and mind with dynamic, fun workouts. If your trainer gives you the same routine every time, why are you paying them anyway?! Need a suggestion of where to find one? Give Styles Group Fitness a try.
6. Workout at a different time of day
7. Replace two cardio workouts with strength workouts if you normally don’t strength train
8. Take a new class
9. Find a new way to use the same piece of equipment. For example, side shuffle or back peddle on the treadmill, walk sideways up the stair master, hold light weights and use your arms on the elliptical trainer to move you forward.
