The West End Farmers Market is reopening for the season on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. The local market at Ridgefield Parkway and Gayton Road in the Far West End will feature over 40 vendors on its first day of the 2010 season. Venders will be offering the following this week:

  • Fresh Asparagus, salad greens, broccoli, shitake mushrooms and more produce
  • Pizza Dough
  • Pie Crust
  • Key Lime Pie
  • French Bread
  • Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheese
  • Breakfast Sausage
  • Bison
  • Mozzarella Balls
  • Bonnyclabber Cheese
  • Apple Butter
  • Sweet Chili Mustard Sauce
  • Cake Lollipops
  • Hand-dipped candles

Live music from John Ellis will also be featured all morning as well as consultations with an on-site personal trainer.
