Richmond Police needs the public’s help locating the suspect responsible for this morning’s robbery of the Wachovia at 1800 Chamberlayne Ave.
The suspect entered the bank shortly after 10 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. He did not display a weapon.
The suspect was last seen wearing sunglasses, a blue hooded sweatshirt, a dark baseball cap, jeans and tennis shoes. He may have left the area of the Wachovia in a gold-colored car, possibly a Lincoln or a Cadillac.
Photos of the suspect from the bank’s surveillance video accompany this advisory.
Anyone with any information about the suspect in this bank robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
