Wednesday, October 26,  Monday, October 31 and Saturday, November 5, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Volunteer to help finish the Wetland Boardwalk and Interpretive Platform on Presquile National Wildlife Refuge.

Volunteer to help finish the Wetland Boardwalk and Interpretive Platform on Presquile National Wildlife Refuge. We are especially in need of those with basic and trim carpentry skills, but also welcome a limited number of volunteers with strong backs and helping hands. We will be completing the boardwalk by custom-cutting and attaching the planking for the turns, completing the roof structure with wood shingles, installing a sign, and cleaning up the worksite in preparation for a ribbon-cutting in November. Lunch is provided. Contact Gabe Silver of JRA at gsilver@jrava.org or (804) 788-8811 ext. 214 to sign up.
