The City’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities will host a Veterans Day commemoration celebration on Monday, November 11, beginning at 7 p.m. This event will be held at the World War I Memorial Carillon located in Byrd Park 1300 Blanton Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.
Scheduled performers include Lawrence Robinson, City Carillonneur who will perform on the Carillon Bells; and The Virginians, the performing chorus of the Richmond Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The Virginians will be performing various patriotic and barbershop selections. For more information regarding the performances, please call (804) 646-1031.
