Update to the aggravated assault which occurred yesterday around 3:45 pm at the Little Food Mart at 902 Halifax Street:
Petersburg Police detectives developed a suspect in the case and were able to arrest him without incident this morning. Arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding was Jawan Edwin JOHNSON, a 33-year old male, of the 800 block of Marseilles Street in Petersburg.
