The Virginia Center for Architecture Ultimate Gingerbread Construction takes place on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2–4PM:

Spice up your holidays! Join Chef Tammy Brawley, owner of The Green Kitchen and Culinary Manager of Sur la table, for an exploration of holiday gingerbread. Indulge in things sweet and gingery and discover tips for using ginger in your holiday concoctions. Kids of all ages can design their own gingerbread house to take home ($5 materials fee). Space is limited and registration is required. Register by email to aliguori@aiava.org or by calling (804) 644-3041, ext. 100.
