If you shop at the Ukrop’s in the White Oak Shopping Center off of Laburnum Ave, you will want to know the closing date for store renovations.
Ukrop’s at White Oak is apart of Martin’s phase 4 store renovation schedule. The store is to close April 24 at 6 p.m. and re-open May 3 at 8 a.m.
The closings will allow workers to paint, clean, re-merchandise and make other interior changes. Among the changes will be increasing the number of refrigeration units, improving lighting, and adding new cash-register systems, along with adding self-checkout lanes to stores that don’t already have them.
The closest Martin’s (formally Ukrop’s) will open on April 19th, at 7324 Bell Creek Road in Mechanicsville.
