Death Investigation Update

The Richmond Police Department has identified the woman found deceased yesterday as Jessica L. Pascual, 20, of the 3400 block of Kensington Avenue.

She was found shortly after 6 a.m. near her residence.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine her cause of death. No further updates are available at this time.

A dead body was found outside of 3425 Kensington Avenue this morning. Crime scene investigators are on hand and streets are closed. More as it trickles in.

  • Person was found in the parking lot of 400 N. Nansemond
  • Adult Female, pronounce dead on the scene
  • Police are in the early stages of homicide investgation
  • “All units” involved: Homicide Unit & Traffic Fatality Unit, they’re getting everyone involved because it was in a parking lot
  • Residents report fighting/shouting early in the morning
