From the Richmond Kids Expo at the Raceway Complex to a monster truck show at the Coliseum and two Theatre IV performances, there’s something fun to do for everyone.

1. Richmond Kids Expo

Saturday, February 26

I am going to be there with so many fun things to share! SO Much to see and do with your kids! A fun day for all, contests, games, dancing and vendors from all over Richmond. Live entertainment including Radio Disney!

2. Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam

Friday, February 25 through Saturday, February 26

Thunder Nationals features the same massive superstars from Monster Jam, but in a more intimate arena setting. Staged on purpose-built concrete courses, all the action that these monsters are famous for is fully intact, and even heightened by the smaller size of the tracks. Expect to see outrageous jumps, crushed cars, plenty of concrete-streaking action, and some of the most incredible donuts ever. Party in The Pits Friday 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM & Saturday 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM!

3. Theatre IV Presents “The Big Friendly Giant”

Friday, February 25 through Sunday, March 6

Roald Dahl’s Big Friendly Giant (24 feet tall!) and a little orphan named Sophie are brought to life in this fantastical and faithful adaptation. The BFG and Sophie team up to save the children of England, assisted by the Queen of England and the Heads of the Army and Airforce with their helicopters. Kids big and small will delight in this adaptation of Dahl’s modern fairy tale in which the orphan Sophie and her newfound friend The BFG demonstrate that heroes come in all sizes.

4. Story Time at Children’s Museum of Richmond -Short Pump

Story time with Characters from Theatre IV, sure to be so much fun for your kids!

5. Theatre IV Presents “I Have a Dream”

“I Have a Dream – The Life and Times of Martin Luther King, Jr. chronicles the phenomenal impact of Dr. King’s life as he becomes one of the most influential and charismatic leaders of the “American Century.”
