Patrick Henry’s Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death Speech Reenactments

St. John’s Church Foundation invites you to join us for historical reenactments of the
Second Virginia Convention of March 1775. In the presence of Washington, Jefferson
and other notable Virginians, Patrick Henry delivered his passionate call for liberty,
uttering the immortal words, “give me liberty or give me death!”

1:00 p.m. Free tickets are distributed at the front door
1:30 p.m. Patriotic music program
2:00 p.m. Reenactment begins

Reenactment Dates: May 29th, June 5th, June 12th, June 19th, June 26th, July 3rd, July 4th, July 10th, July 17th, July 24th, July 31st,
August 7th, August 14th, August 21st, August 28th and September 4th

Visit some of Richmond’s most haunted pubs where you can hoist a pint with some of the regulars who are still ‘hanging around. Sit comfortably as your ghost guide spins the intoxicating tales of ghastly happenings in the oldest neighborhood in Richmond. You’ll have time to get to know the spirits, your guide and fellow pub crawlers. Drinking is not required to have a spirited encounter, but because the tour goes into the bars and taverns, no one under the age of 21 is allowed.

Loaded with Richmond ambience, you’ll visit three to four pubs and hear these stories:

The ghost of Mr. Poe
The permanent guests of the Railroad YMCA
The restless spirits of Belle Isle
