The Barton Mansion (aka “Corner Minor”) located at 2112 Monteiro Street and an adjacent historic house at 2204 Monteiro Street are available for sale as a package. Because of the significant architecture and history of these Barton Heights houses, the Alliance to Conserve Old Richmond Neighborhoods has joined the effort to find a buyer willing to renovate.
The Corner Minor House was built by James H. Barton in the 19th century as a showpiece for the neighborhood and was featured in promotional material for the early streetcar community. Square footage = 15,803.
