ACORN, the Alliance to Conserve Old Richmond Neighborhoods, will be holding a tax credit workshop featuring experts from the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and its own specialists this Saturday, March 28, from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon.

The workshop will teach homeowners how to take advantage of rehabilitation tax credits on the renovation of historic homes. It will also help participants understand how to claim up to 20% on federal income taxes for rehabilitation of commercial property, or 25% on residential renovation.

The workshop is free to ACORN members and $20 to the general public. It will be held in the Parish Hall at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 2401 East Broad Street in Church Hill.
