The annual summer concert series sponsored by the Fan District Association and hosted in Meadow Park (the triangle park at Meadow St. and Park Ave.) continues this Tuesday, July 20th, at 7 PM. Here are the details:
The Richmond Concert Band will perform. The theme for the evening is “Music Takes Flight,” and the program will include movie music, Sousa marches, a Johann Strauss polka, and a song made popular by Toto. This is a free, family-friendly concert. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, and join us. As always, the FDA will provide free ice cream for everyone.
